　皆さん、チョコとお菓子物が好きですか？　私にチョコが大好きので、私の食習慣はチョコに欠かせません。子供の時からチョコの味が好きなりました。色々なチョコもたべました。黒、白、値段が高いか、全部大好きです。だから、今ころまだ毎日チョコが食べられます。でも、「チョコを毎日食べるとすれば体に悪い影響があるだろう」と聞いた事があるけど、人の性格に影響があるという例もあるというのは聞いた事がありますか。チョコは私の性格に影響があるかもしれません。というのは、私は怒りやすいし、時々暴力行為がありますから。どうして私の性格はいつも衝動的か理解できませんでした。そんな時医者も見ていたことがあるけど、医者が「こんな性格普通だ」と指摘されました。しかし、４年ぐらい後で、記事を読んでいて私の性格を分かり出しました。１０月７日の産経ニュースにあった「チョコ食べた子供は暴力的な大人に？　英カーディフ大調査」の記事について紹介し、チョコとお菓子などの影響性は分かりやすいを考えてみたいと思います。
私は紹介する記事は、チョコなどの甘いお菓子を毎日のように食べる子供は、成人になってから暴力的になりやすいという調査です。イギリスのカーディフ大学の研究者によると、１０歳の時にこうしたお菓子物を毎日与えられた子供は、３４歳までに暴力的になる率が高いようです。そして、電話インタビューを通じて、子供にお菓子をよく与えると、衝動的になって、欲しい物を攻撃的手段で入手しようとする可能性があると説明しました。研究のために、１９７０年に参加した約１万７５００人が今度の研究にも参加したのだが、結果は３４歳までに暴力性があった調査対象者の６９％は、子供の時にチョコなどの甘い物を毎日のように食べたらしいです。「満足感をもったり、欲しい物を手に入れたいために子供は攻撃的になったりと衝動的な行動をしたりする」と指摘しました。
イギリスだけじゃなくて、アメリカ人とか、日本人も同じ経験という例もあります。インターネットを通じて、この研究に関連付ける返事から、「満足感を後回しにできないため、非行との強い関連性、より衝動的な行動にかき立てられる可能性がある」と指摘されています。それで、もう一人は「神経細胞は糖分がエネルギー源で甘い物だから、子供とか大人とか同じように衝動的になるのことは普通だ」と指摘されています。研究によると、子供の健康と攻撃性を和らげることに注意していった方がいいと勧めました。
実は私の経験はこの調査の結果を表すことができるだろうと思います。子供の時、私はたくさんチョコを食べたので、私の性格は怒りやすいようにみえます。だから、このニュースを読んだ後で、すぐ、私の経験はこのニュースに関連付けました。子供の時両親はチョコをくれなかったら、衝動的になり、欲しい物を攻撃的手段で入手しようとするという気がしました。だから、チョコ食べた子供は暴力的な大人になるという調査に関しては私も同じ考えです。私はアメリカに住んでいるから、アメリカ人の食習慣は同じです。もちろんお菓子も大量に食べました。アメリカ人は衝動的になりやすいし、暴力行為だという例もあります。
以上のように、子供とか成人とか、、衝動的になることは無理ではないでしょう。皆に対し甘い物の影響があります。毎日のように食べながら、衝動的ということも考えられます。だから、チョコ食べた子供は暴力的な大人になるという調査の結果に関しては私も同じ考えです。それで、私の性格も分かるようにできましたが、まだまだ、チョコをやめることには全然できないだろうと思います。というのは、チョコが大好きで、一週間ごとに一日にチョコを食べる人は暴力行為がないという例もあるので、私にそうするとすれば、暴力にならないだろうと思います。性格や健康もよくなることができるかもしれないと考えました。皆さんの食習慣について、どう考えますか。将来に子供がいるなら、子供にお菓子を食べさせますか？また食べさせるなら、子供の性格への潜在的　（せんざいてき）影響があるのを気にしますか？どうしてですか？これについて皆さんの意見を聞いてみたいと思います。それでは、３、４人のグループになって、3分話合ってください。後でグループの意見を聞きたいと思います。

アメリカの大学生の食事習慣を話したい。日本の大学生の生活は自由なので、食事に対しては心配しなくてもいい。しかし、アメリカではそうじゃない。皆は忙しいので、速いし、食べやすいものを食べなきゃ。例えば、ファーストフードやインスタント食品は一番好みだ。時間があったら、まだ、お菓子とか、お酒など飲用することは普通だ。朝ごはんを食べなくて、毎日お菓子を食べて、夜にお菓子やインスタント食品だけで食べる。野菜と果物も食べない。食歴もわるくなって、この習慣も生活に印象がある。もちろん、家族と住んでいる人は食事は栄養があるという例もあるよ。そして、全部が悪いという例がない、一つだけで、アメリカ人の健康が最低じゃない例は運動だ。

今日は剣道を話しよう。剣道はなんだろうか説明する。剣道は日本からの武術である剣術の竹刀を使って、防具を着たの相手に剣の方を交換することだ。防具は体を護るものだけど、打つとき時々痛い。防具は面、小手、胴、垂の４種から成るのものだ。服は袴とけいごきを着る。剣道をする場所は道場と言って、道場の地は木物だ。そして試合場は１１ｍの正方形で境界がある。試合は２本までに勝つ。点を打つところは、

面を打つ技：面打ち、引き面打ち、小手面打ち
小手打つ技：小手うち、引き打ち
突き技：面の咽喉に突き、でも！この技はとても危ない
胴を打つ技：右と左胴打ち、引き胴打ち

私はもう３年ぐらい剣道をして、１段だよ。土曜日にケンットの大会がある。去年で負けられて、今年は勝つつもりだ。ワシントン大学は剣道部があるけど、私はベルビュウで剣道をしなければいけないんだ。というのは自宅が遠いだから。皆は剣道は本当に面白いし、怒っているなら人を打つでもいいし（冗談）、心理にも助かる。しかし剣道はとても大変だよ！皆してみてください、剣道は。そして土曜日にがんばる！

まだ台湾について話しなったので、台湾のことを紹介する。台湾は私の一番大好きなところだ。どうして出だと思うんだか私も分からない。アメリカでどこに行っても車に行かなければ行けないし、時間もすごいかかて、ワシントン州は何をないでしょう。もちろん、ここで中国料理はアメリカ的なのでとてもまずいと思うんだ。いつもここで住んでいったくせに、もうガンマンできないかもしれない。

台湾は何でも便利だよ。どこでもある。美味しい食べ物とか、服とか、飲み物など、歩いて買える。そして、台湾は何の景色がある。世界みたいだ。海、川、山、砂模、現代的、伝統的、何にかある。それで、何も安いだよ。１００ドルがあったら５星水準なレストランに一週間に毎日食べるよ。

とにかく、今日は台湾の食べ物を話す。台湾は伝統的な食べ物は多いけど、台湾の食べ物は特別ところは国際的だよ。国際的食べ物は何だろう？台湾食べ物だけじゃなくて、他の文化と配合した食べ物だよ。例えばカレーライスがしているでしょう？だけど、カレーイタリアンスパゲティと聞いたある？台湾では多分現代的な食べ物が多いですが、伝統的な食べ物を食べたいなら、「古い味」と見える。

台湾は食べ物が多いけど、もちろん飲み物はとても大分だよ。Ｂｕｂｂｌｅ　Ｔｅａと有名な飲み物と聞いたでしょう？そう！それは台湾から来たよ。知っていなかったでしょう。そう、台湾は茶は有名だよ。台湾の農は８０％に茶を産す。でも、台湾の飲み物は自創りだよ。だから、Ｂｕｂｂｌｅ　Ｔｅａを飲むとき台湾を覚えて。

今日は日本人がクラスに来た。私のグルプはイプさんとシャウさんとチェンさんといた。そして、和江さんとえりなさんの日本人に今ときの大学生について、案内した。まず、クラスで私たちの読み物は大学生が勉強の興味が冷めたみたいけど、そう思う正しい。例えば、和江さんに「日本には卒業しにくいですか」と聞いた。「とても簡単です。」と答えた。というのは、大学で何をしなくでもいいし、いい成績をもらえる。アメリカに関して、それは授業に行けなければいけないんだ。えりなさんはアメリカの大学というのこともとても大変だと思う。ノートが書いて、授業に行って、テストも受けなければいけない。そいうと聞いたとき、「日本大学生はいいなあ」と言った。それで、日本大学生はア'ルコホールを飲んだり、友達と遊んだりするだけで、自由なり存在した。

というのは一番面白かったものは日本大学生にアルバイトをすることだ。和江さんとえりなさんに「アメリカで大学生はアルパイとをする人がおおいですが、理由は授業料を自分で払うためだ。日本では何のためにアルパイとをしましたか」と聞いた。そして！和江さんとえりなさんは同じように「全然、興味だけだ」と言った。日本大学生はアルパイとをするためはアルコホールとか食べ物とか旅行なだそうだけで、勉強しなくてアルパイとをしたんだ。本当に日本大学生はいいなあー

とにかく、私はワシントン大学３年生ジョンソン・ユーと言う。私の専門は法律と会計だけど、なぜ日本語を勉強すろと考えるか分からない。多分将来際、なんだか便利だと思うんだ。そして、ワシントンシ州は日本人が多いので、色々な人を助けるようにできたいと思うんだ。私は英語と日本語以外に中国語と台湾語も話せる。小さい時台湾で３年ぐらい、中国語と台湾語を勉強した。本当に台湾の小学校は大変だ！私の趣味は剣道だとスノーボードだ。もう４年ぐらい剣道をした。最近は寒くなると思うんだ、実は皆はＴ－シャツとショーツを着るのに私にとってとても寒いと感じる。多分、台湾から帰りばかりかも。冬になるとどうしょう！と似合えず、クラスの皆さんどうぞよろしくよ。

Girl I met in Japan

I met a girl in Japan, and her name is Yawara. We went to school together, and almost every time we are always together. We shopped, ate, and do everything together. Until one day that we are about to leave Japan, I finally felt that I can not lose her. We started dating on 8/27/2007.

7 day count down

It’s almost time for me to go back from Japan. Even though I only been in Japan for a short time, but the people I have met impact me greatly. I begin to feel sadness knowing that I only have a week left with the people I have met. We have done so much together, that I never want to leave them. Now that we have only a few days left were going to attempt to do everything there is to do in Japan.

Prom Night!!!

I drove a lot yesterday. First I had classes at BCC, after class I picked up the corsages at Lawrence Florist. After that I then rush home to change into my Tux. After that I went to pick up my date, Kathryn in Renton, battling against heavy traffic while getting there since its lunch time. After picking up Kathryn we then have to fight traffic again, but not only had I missed the EXIT, I pretty much made us late 20 min. After 50 min drive we finally reached my friend’s house which is all the way back in Issaquah. We took a lot of pictures while we were at my friend’s house. He lives by the lake which has great view. But because the parents wanted to take so many pictures we were almost late to dinner. Also a pair dates didn’t know how to get to my friend’s house so that also add on to the downtime. We then decided to have my friend Ari and his date Ariel go to the restaurant first. I made a reservation at the Waterfront Seafood & Grill at Pier 70. I was relief that everyone loved the restaurant and had great experience there. We again took a lot of pictures there because we had another great view of the water. Kathryn manages to take a great shot of the sun! During dinner we had interesting Soda, Lavender which tastes delicious. We had so much fun during our dinner conversations. We laugh so hard we can’t drink, eat, and talk anymore. My jaw still hurts from laughing so much. After dinner we had a limo pick us up at the restaurant. Our limo driver was the greatest man ever lived, he is so freaking funny. He does a great impression of all kinds of accents. In the limo again we took a few pictures, the inside were kind of cool, first experience of the limo. When we finally arrived at the Prom location which is at Shilshole Bay Beach Club, we took professional prom pictures. It seems like we been around bodies of water the whole prom. Me and Kathryn dances, and Aerial had the greatest dance ever. I’m laughing right now as I am writing. We had techno dance, hip pop dance, and of course slow dance. We had such a great time that the dance went by rather quickly. We then had the limo take us to Laser Light Show. While on the way there some people grabs food from Dick’s Burger. Then we continue our way to the Laser Light Show. The laser Light Show was performed by Pink Floyd, album The Wall. The show was great, I fell asleep at some part, but overall it was interesting. We then head back to my friend’s house, we changed to our comfortable clothes. We were deciding if we wanted to go bowling or not. But, we will get home around 6 in the morning, so we decided not to. I then took Kathryn home, and we ended our nights. I didn’t get home until 3:40, by the time I took a shower and went to bed, I can already hear birds singing, and sun rising. Then I got up this morning at 10 typing this, full of energy. Prom was fun!!

Busy Month

Im getting ready for prom, OOOO cant wait for prom. so stressful. I was shopping with Kathryn yesterday for prom before Japanese class. She was looking for a purse to match her dress and shoe. At least i dont have to stree over those stuff. Anyways Im going to go buy Prom Tickets on June 30th.

Great game for game addicts

Albatross 18 (Pangya)

PangYa's gameplay is designed similar to most other golf games. The power and accuracy of a shot are determined by a meter located at the bottom of the screen, using the "three-click method": one click to activate the meter's bar, one click to set power, and one click to set accuracy. Clicking is either done by moving the mouse pointer over the bar and clicking, or simply pressing the space bar.

Should the player hit the ball with perfect (or almost-perfect) accuracy, the shot is called a "PangYa". Missing a Pangya will result in a loss of power, and either a 'hook' (where the ball angles to the left from the intended trajectory) or a 'slice' (where the ball angles to the right from the intended trajectory).

The similarity of PangYa with other online golf games end here. The game's graphics look more like that of a Japanese anime than real golf, and many features are derived of creative imaginations rather than realism. Seriously this game is the best game I played all year. Suggested playing with friends, and make a static partner for matches.

Nothing else to do

there is seriously nothing else to do. everyone is on spring break, yet they are busy traveling. i hardly get invited to go out. so much for nothing. only person who ever ask me to do anything is Hana, yet she is traveling today. i pretty much alone in this huge house. and the water view. so much for having friends huh. soon i am going to be gone, asking me to do anything is already too late.

Road to Success

Good news, I made the Dean's List.

First Day of School

Aye, what can I tell you about first day of school in fewest words possible. IT SUCKS. I hate the new quarter. Today is the worst boring day ever. Nothing special happend. Pretty much the whole day is minding my own business. Hope it will get better tomorrow. Really do becasue I dont think I can stand the people in my class. One word, Immature. I hate those kind of people. One thing I look in people is how they interacts to people. This is also one thing I look in girls. I hate girls who arent Immature. Who dont think straight. They have a totally differnt thinking than I do. I want it slow and they want it at a fast pace. I am hurt yet they dont consider my feelings. I do so much for them, yet they repay me back with "You never do anything". Anyways today i just been thinking about this issue. I am extremely hurt by this. Everything seems to tie to this issue. Anyways Ill get over it sooner or later. Hope people had a better day than I did.

Last day of Spring break...

Today is the last day of spring break. So sad. Time passed by too quickly. Well at least I spent a large amount of time learning new things. Not the best spring break I had, could be better, but what ever. Anyways, because I hadnt been talking to my friends on the phone my English grammar is comming back. I start saying things like absobloodylutely, ave it, proper, proper it, and said alot of bloody terms. Quite annoying actually. Its time to get my head straight. School time. Better fix my time differnence now by going to sleep early today eh. so whos excited about school!

WET WET WET

Today I watch aerialists, jugglers, comedians, danvers, clowns, and more as they strut their stuff at the annual Moisture Festival. Its the best celebration of spring. This comedy cariete festival, is action-packed, laugh-a-minute ride that recalls the vaudeville acts of old. Each performer takes the stage for 15 minutes in a cariety show format at Hale's Palladium, the warehouse of Hale's Brewery in Fremont. Greatest late night experience.

Day 1 Morning

Got to Pike Place Market early and pop into Lowell's for an unbeatable Puget Sound and Olympic range view with your eggs, sunny side up, Pick from three floors! After breakfast, just in time to watch the gorcers and fishmongers set up. Roam the aisles for some fresh samples from local apples to yummy jams. The Market consists of several buildings, so given the morning to explore all it has to offer, and picked up arts and crafts and artisan meats and cheese. The waterfront was also a great way to walk off that breakfast. Dropped by Ye Olde Curiosity Shop at Pier 54 and said "Hi" to the local icon Sylvester the Mummy. He did'nt reply. /cry

Brainwashed

I feel brainwashed, I just finished reading Mein Kampf. Its a tough read, and long. Anyways, I needed something odd to read. And no, I'm not a Pro Nazi, I don't support what Hitler did. I just think its significant on what he promised Germany, on how he would get Germany out of debt. And he did. I think he is a good leader, but not a good person. Seriously though think back to World War I, was the war really caused by Germany? No, it was not, people just like to blame them because they are so bloody strong. Secondly, this is why Germany wanted second world war. To get the respect they need. To really blame World War II, is the unfairness determination on Germany paying off the War damage. Hitler did what needed to be done, to gain the respect, and they did. Hitler did it for his people, people were straving to death. Anyways, Hitler did what he promised. I still think he is a good leader, but what he did to all the Jewish i totally disagree. That's his personal hateard.

Golf Addict

im seriously turning into a golf addict. i realize im playing golf computer game (Albatross18) and im going to driving range almost every day. o well its a healthy relaxing sport.

Today, everyone was busy doing something. Terry, went to Canada, i dont know why. and My other friends are busy doing homework. Today, i pretty much did nothing except took 200 pictures. Today was a good weather, i took up on a hike. other than that today was a plain old boring day. Tomorrow i am planning to call Terry up to go golfing tomorrow. When im in UW, i will be going to driving range every single day. I really need to practice. well now i better work on my pictures.

Jealous!!

All my friends are traveling this spring break!! Jessmin arrived at New York, but i dont know her status there. My friend Yuki went back to Japan and just called me just now. She is planning to travel the whole Japan. I am so jealous. Yuki is one of my long lost friend that we seperated after i left Taiwan. She is a Japanese student that schooled in taiwan. So would always hang out with me and my friend Joanna. Ever since then we lost contact. I almost forgot about her. its great knowing that she is finally traveling around Japan, instead of staying in one place. She said she will buy me things from each area she traveled and send it by mail. She will begin her trip from Hokkaido, then down south all the way until taiwan. She finally persue her dream of becoming a photographer. When us 3 were little we always buy desposoble camera and take pictures, and we would always compete who takes the best pictures. Now that hearing that she is traveling Japan taking pictures, this means i have to practice before she takes better pictures than me! Yuki you wont beat me! though she is good at taking pictures of people, and im only good with taking nature pictures. god this reminds me of our childhood. we had a little cult that no one would mess with us. becasue when you mess with one of us you pretty much mess with us all. we were all very loyal to each other. that is why we always have so much time talking to each other now. Yuki was also my first girlfriend. come to think of it i really do miss talking to her. But back then everything was my fault, I never said i loved her, i never held her hands, and i never kissed her. She really wanted all that and i was just too shy. after all these years, she never changed. God! now im homesick again, but this time it isnt Taiwan but Japan. She was the reason why i went to school in Japan. It is spring again... Our relationship started on Spring, my happiest momment was in spring. yet we broke up in spring. bittersweet story. but the main reason why i broke up with her was becasue i was going to school in US. and i dont wanted to effect her future. She has a duty to take over her father's company after she finish studying. Sounds like me. We both are to take over our parent's accounting firm. Jessmin alert me to persue my dream. And i am going to take over my mom's business. I am going to become a Accountant for Foreign Affairs. Sounds kinda weird right? I like this title. Anyways i am very happy to hear her voice again, it feels like i found my long lost friend. I hope she has a great time in Japan.

Finally tired...

After not resting, or sleep for 5 days. I just finished watching the drama and actually feeling tired. Today I am going to sleep well.

Watching a new drama

As you can see im going another night without sleep. I am going to watch a cantonese drama, its quite addicting. Time with Seonghee

today me and Seonghee decided to go driving range to practice golfing. I had to pick her up at her house. She lives in Issaquah but it still takes me about 20 minuets to get to her house, and i live in sammamish. I didnt know issaquah was that large. we went to Redmond driving range and got a large basket of balls to hit. at the end i finally got the hang of using a Iron, but i still cant use drivers yet, as usual. After feeling sore and having developing blisters, we were finished. We then head back to Bellevue, to eat at facing east. My favorite chinese resteraunt. but we arrived at 3 which was still closed then we head to Bellevue Square to walk around until 5. We went to Lego store, knowing that Seonghee loves Lego which is kinda of cool. then we walked around some more until it was 5. then we head back to the resteraunt and talked quite a bit. We have discussed that Seonghee teaches me how to cook Korean and italian. I really want to know how to make Kimchee, becasue my mom loves them. Then we could learn how to make spring rolls. it is great to have a friend like her. When i am going through hard time, she was willing to help make me feel better. Then we ended our night all sore and tired. Yet, i still cant sleep for some reason... im going for another late nighter, if you guys are bored could always call me.

One of my friend is leaving to Japan today. So lucky. I want to go back to Japan, one thing i miss most there is Dagashi. Dagashi stand are candy stands that i always used to go when i was in elementary. After school i would walk home and there will be Dagashi stand on the way. I remember when my mom would get so mad at me when i buy candies for lunch. when i went to Japan over the summer break, i never saw Dagashi stands. my friend in japan told me that Dagashi stands are getting less popular now. i miss it very much. My second friend is leaving to Japan on the 25th. even though we have not really met and talked. she is still pretty cool. unlike my friend Kohei who is coming back on Aprail 2nd. She is going back for good. which is kind of sad. I was planning to really get to know her. it is all too late now. lastly, jessmin is going to NY today. i always wanted to go to NY. normally if we were in taiwan, our native indians would always call out to the tourist, "oh hi yai yai ho hey!!!". it is to call out to friends, to have a pleasant journey. I bid you all a pleasant trip, you have all deserved it. just dont forget about me! because i am here to think of you all and envy you guys.

On a roll!

since its pass 12 o' clock. im going for the 4th day of not resting and constantly doing something. I have also gotten a lot skinner to. i think skinnest i have gotten? i weight 118 now. I think i can get back my six pack again. i keep getting fat during winter. in fact im going to 24 hour fitness later tonight/morning. then after that, ill take a shower then talk to friends in japan and taiwan. then i dont know from there. i guess do something happy? i jaw kind of hurts from frowning so much. i hadnt laughed, or truly smiled for the pass 2 weeks. got any suggestions?

San Juans Island

After driving for so long, i finally reached my destination. I payed for a ferry boat and went on a cruise. It was truly wonderful, the scene was beautiful. I cooled down a lot, mainly the trip was to clear my mind. I was looking at nature for about 2 hours straight. Ate a lot on the boat to. First time i drank so much coffe and ate so much cheese cake. Then the weirdest thing happend. It snowed? wtf? Anyways, the trip was great, I had a lot of alone time the time I needed.

toughest day

Today is the hardest day for me . After feeling better from all the alcohol, I feel much worse than before. I just can't shut off my brain. There is no one that can help me. Anyways, I am wide awake sitting here dead to to the screen. Orginally planned to have a trip to see the view at San Juans Island. I'm going to drive there by myself to sober up. Don't bother calling me today. No one ever calls me anyways. I just don't want to be bothered right now. I am miserable.

Finals Week

This week is finals week. ahh it so stressful. Today I have the toughest final ever, Calculus 124. I personally hate math with a passion. Every single day I have to wake up at 5 in the morning to study with my dad for the pass 3 years. Although today I was awake at 5, but not becasue I was up ready to study my ass off. Instead, I did'nt sleep well. I keep having bloody nightmares. It really quite annoying. I don't know if you guys agree with me or not. I might be screwed for Final today. ai......
